In need of compassionate childcare with an academic focus?

Do your school age children need a safe environment and daily e-learning assistance?

At Kiddie Kare A’Kadamie we know that COVID has brought an extreme amount of anxiety and stress to Kenosha families contemplating how to best care for their children this fall and winter. We also know you want to ensure that your children have opportunities to learn and grow with children their age. Kiddie Kare A’Kadamie’s passionate teaching staff has been dedicated to helping Kenosha’s children reach their development goals in a warm caring environment since 1991.

Kiddie Kare A’Kademie focuses on providing fun activities that encourage physical, emotional, social and cognitive development. Children are encouraged to develop and become confident in their newly discovered independence skills as they explore their environment.

Kiddie Kare A’Kademie promotes the development of the whole child by focusing on:

  • academics
  • social skills
  • physical activity
  • healthy eating habits
  • homework for school age children

Social relationships are an important context for learning, when children have opportunities to play together, work on projects and talk with others their own age – their development as well as their learning experiences are enhanced.

We invite you to learn more about each of our programs that specialize in each age group, from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. We are here for you and your family during this difficult time.

Our Baby Bear Room is designed for children under 12 months of age.

The teachers in the Baby Bear Room look forward to cuddling, nurturing, and bonding with your baby so you can have a peace of mind while you work. Nap and feeding times will follow your baby’s individual schedule. You will receive feeding, sleeping, and diapering information upon pick up each day. Nursing mothers are welcome to nurse their baby in the comfort of our classroom if desired. We encourage a healthy relationship between our teachers and families. After all, we are a team!

Our daycare’s “Twiddle Bug Room” is designed for children starting at 12 months of age.

Our loving daycare teachers, many of whom are from neighborhoods right here in Kenosha and Pleasant Prairie, help teach the children the importance of routines as well as limits, during their first years. You will be happy to see your child grow in independence and feel more secure in their daily accomplishments. Our one year old daycare focuses on providing fun activities that encourage physical, emotional, social and cognitive development. Children are encouraged to develop and become confident in their newly discovered independence skills as they explore their environment.

Elmo Room 2-Year Old Preschool

Our Early Preschool Program promotes a positive environment for learning and growing. We understand that young preschoolers are curious about the world around them. That is why our two year old daycare promotes the development of the whole child by focusing on education, social skills, physical activity and healthy eating habits. Social relationships are an important context for learning, when children have opportunities to play together, work on projects and talk with others their own age – their development as well as their learning experiences will be enhanced. Our two year old daycare provides a variety of materials and opportunities for children to have firsthand meaningful experiences. The classroom space and materials are organized to support the children’s need to physically explore, to discover, and to help children become more independent as well as gain a better understanding of “group play.”

Our loving teachers provide comforting words and hugs with plenty of love to help children cope with their separation from their parents. Our Caring Teachers encourage children to participate in daily routines to develop self-help skills. Activities provide repeated opportunities with sensory experiences that help develop large & small muscles and promote thinking & communication skills. Your child is introduced to letters, shapes, numbers, stories, pictures, art, and music during circle time to help your child develop a rich vocabulary as well as be exposed to an enjoyable learning experience.

Zoe Room Private 3K

Our 3K classroom draws on your child’s natural curiosity and desire to make sense of their world and motivates them to become involved in interesting learning activities. Our caring teachers provide many opportunities for the children to learn and work together cooperatively while developing their social skills. The teachers foster these developmental skills at all times by modeling expected behavior, coaching, grouping and redirecting various behaviors.

Kiddie Kare A’Kademie’s customized curriculum has been developed over 29 years to incorporate our scheduled academics (colors, shapes, numbers and phonics). This will keep your child engaged and excited about learning.

Learning phonetic sounds and name recognition are important first steps in pre-reading skills.

Fine motor skills: Eye-hand coordination along with how to hold a pencil, how to hold and cut with scissors and beginning handwriting.

Large motor skills: outdoor recess (2 fenced in age-appropriate playgrounds), parachute, yoga, dance and other group activities allow your child to exert their natural energy while learning from nature and necessary social/emotional skills. It also helps in children learning manners and important interactive skills (sharing, communication and respect).

Our classroom space and materials are organized into interesting learning centers to support your three year olds progressive ability to learn new skills, test things out, and express their ideas and feelings. These classroom centers are set up to encourage children to select activities, engage in hands-on exploration as well as being exposed to many learning experiences.

Bert Room Private PreK (ABeka curriculum)

We focus on the development of the whole child. Our Pre-Kindergarten Program promotes a positive environment for learning and growing. Our Teachers help children to learn how to establish positive, constructive relationships with adults and children. They also plan and implement a coherent curriculum to help children achieve important developmental and learning goals. Our teachers recognize learning experiences are more effective when the curriculum is responsive to the children’s interests and ideas.

Whether it’s math, reading, writing, science, etc … your child’s early experiences and achievements will help him/her prepare for a lifetime of success in school and the world that they live in. Our curriculum will help to prepare the children enrolled in our Pre K daycare through the everyday experiences needed for their upcoming Elementary School years.

Big Bird E-Learning Assisted Program

Traditionally we provide before and after care to school age children. Kiddie Kare A’Kademie’s #1 goal is to provide quality care for students and we’re working hard to adapt to better serve families during this difficult time. We pride ourselves on providing students with an educationally caring environment. We offer a safe, fun-filled and KOOL school age daycare (through age 12) as well as  now provide daily e-learning assistance Monday – Friday.
