Spring brings new energy and growth into Kenosha and Pleasant Prairie, just like one of our favorite, new teachers brings every day to Kiddie Kare A’Kademie, Ms. Sheila Coleman!
Ms. Sheila joined our team of role models in December of 2017 in our new Infant & Toddler room with over 12 years of childcare experience and certifications in teaching, Shaken Baby Syndrome, and SIDS. She knows, after six years of working exclusively with infants, that she has found the perfect occupation and is continuing her education by attending classes in the Teachers Foundation of Education program.
Ms. Sheila prides herself on her ability to foster growth in each child as they explore everything for the first time. She loves celebrating breakthroughs and progress with the kids and parents, alike. She believes student growth and eagerness to learn are the best rewards because she knows that developing these skills are making a difference in each of their lives.
If babies could talk, she hopes that each one would say that they feel like her own child and that they know she wants the very best for each of their lives as she helps them develop healthy habits that last a lifetime. Her classroom learns through her gentle nature as she holds them lovingly while caring for each baby’s needs throughout the day.
Ms. Sheila has come to learn that being a part of Kiddie Kare’s family-owned daycare of 45+ years means that every child is treated like our own family, benefitting from a home-like childcare environment, which is why she thinks that Kiddie Kare is the best place for kids.
Hiring trustworthy, experienced teachers like Ms. Sheila to care for our students is part of why our relationships with every family are so effortless. We strive to be the home away from home where kids, parents, and teachers thrive together.
Thank you, Ms. Sheila, for making Kiddie Kare A’Kademie your home!
