Jana Ledford understands how important early childhood education is to the formation of
nurturing, loving, successful adults. She believes this important stage of your child’s life will help
determine the kind of adult they will become.
Ms. Jana has been teaching at Kiddie Kare since spring of 2017. During that time she has taken
great satisfaction when her students reach personal milestones. Whether it is something so
basic as potty training or learning to walk – even that first time they spell their own name, Ms.
Jana takes special pride in being there to witness that experience.
Her students look forward to attending school every day. Ms. Jana strives to have them look to
her as comforting, safe and fun to play with.
Every teacher has a personal reason as to why they selected Kiddie Kare A’Kademie as the
best place to work and contribute to the education of children. All the Kiddie Kare teachers have
children in their lives outside of work and Ms. Jana believes that motivates them to treat the
children in their classrooms as if they were their own children.
Ms. Jana appreciates getting to know each child personally and feels that helps the teachers at
Kiddie Kare create a personal bond with them. Kiddie Kare’s manageable size enables teachers
to create a “homey” and safe classroom environment. Each child receives the kind of personal
attention needed to nurture their unique needs. Kiddie Kare classrooms are places where
teachers are empowered to try new themes to keep things updated and fresh.
Ms. Jana believes high fives and hugs, that are commonplace at Kiddie Kare, give the children
the kind of positive reaffirmation they desire at that age.
November’s Teacher of the Month at Kiddie Kare A’Kademie is Ms. Jana Ledford. She is one of
the reasons Kiddie Kare A’Kademie is the best place for the children of Kenosha and Pleasant Prairie to
begin their educational journey.
